What do you feel this course (UN100) should focus on? What do you need help in, specifically?

I feel that UN 100 should focus on preparing us to succeed in college. And provide us with information on how to study, and balance your social life with studying and class. Specifically I need help with studying, I realized that through high school I didn't really have to do much studying besides looking over notes the night before a test. In college, I can't do that. I've tried to study differently on a few exams and I still can't get the grades I want. However, I feel that this class also detracts from my studying time in other more difficult courses. I have more homework in this class than others and the assignments take more time. I have to spend more time doing projects for this class when I could and would be studying for Anatomy or Chemistry. I have yet to see the purpose for the assingments in class. I thought that being in UN 100 would mainly focus on school and how to successfully complete courses. I feel that there has been some of that, but more of the other things that don't necessarily pertain to succeeding in college. I feel like UN 100 should focus more on balance than anything else. We should talk more about the problems we're having for the week and discuss how to fix them. If one person is feeling something negative about school, chances are, someone else is too.
